Nurturing Hands Home Care - FAQ's
Nurturing Hands Home Care - Helping Seniors Stay Independent At Home
Frequently Asked Questions:

What is home care?

Home care is care that allows a person with special needs to stay in their home. Nurturing Hands Home Care offers services to those who just need companionship, chronically ill, recovering from surgery, or disabled.

To whom do you provide services?

Nurturing Hands provides services to anyone who may need an extra hand; from families who just need someone to watch over your loved one while they are away during the day, to people who are disabled and would like someone to be there to help them live life to its fullest.

Do you provide assistance to people in nursing homes/assisted living facilities?

Yes! Nurturing Hands Home Care isn't just for people in their homes, it's for anyone, anywhere! We understand that in assisted living facilities there are a few individuals caring for you or your family member, and that these individuals are also caring for multiple people at a time making it difficult for extended periods of hands-on personal care. That's where Nurturing Hands comes in to make sure that there is always someone there with your loved one, keeping them safe, comfortable, and most importantly, happy.

What type of insurances do you take?

Nurturing Hands is a private pay service, meaning we do not take any insurances, however, we strive to make our services affordable for each and every one of our patients. Please call for a free assessment.

What areas do you cover?

We are a Houston based company operating in the Greater Houston area and many of its outlying areas. Please contact us for further information on our areas of coverage.

Do you have a minimum number of hours that you require for services?

We do have a minimum of 4 hours per visit.

What if I need someone with me at all times?

Nurturing Hands Home Care understands that in many circumstances it can be beneficial to have someone with your loved one at all times, so we offer full 24/7 care to patients who just want to have that peace of mind of someone being with them at all times.

Who will be taking care of my loved one?

Our staff are qualified individuals to ensure that your loved one gets the best care possible. We know that it can be scary to have a stranger come into your home, but Nurturing Hands strives to make that a non-issue by allowing you to meet your caregiver and get comfortable with them prior to service.
